New Base Access Procedures for the Golf Outing – Effectively Immediately

Hello Registrants and Prospective Participants,

This is an important update regarding base access procedures for Ft. Belvoir. While we know this change may present an inconvenience for many of you, we want to provide you with the most recent information. We are working with the Fort Belvoir Golf Club to pre-vett our golfers and participants. We hope that you will take advantage of being pre-vetted. We apologize for this inconvenience as we understand the need to protect the families and workers at Ft. Belvoir. Thank you!

Please read the following very carefully.

Pre-Vetting via Fort Belvoir Golf Club:

Each player/participant must complete the requested information (full legal name, date of birth, driver’s license# and expiration date or passport# with expiration date) within the Birdease Registration site so that we may have visitors pre-vetted as a tournament player or participant. We encourage you to enter at the Kingman Gate entrance which is closest to the golf course. The golf course cannot guarantee the vetted list will be at Liber or Tulley gates. We must submit the visitor’s list of attendees by September 6th, 2024. You will need a valid driver’s license. If you do not have the REAL ID license yet, you may present your U.S. Passport. Please note a state ID may also be required. We will gladly accommodate requests to collect your information directly via telephone. If this approach is desired, please send an email to [email protected] or call 877-365-6660 to coordinate.

*At this time, Fort Belvoir is only processing Sponsored Visitor Access Forms* If you know someone who is a DoD Civilian working on the installation or Active Duty US Military and/or lives on Ft. Belvoir, you can be sponsored by them. Sponsored passes are valid up to one year and can be renewed. This pass is valid through all gates except Farrar Gate. All contractors, to include CAC card with the green strip, cannot be a sponsor.

The application must be completed fully and legible. Forms that are illegible or not fully completed cannot be processed. Please note, the applicant’s Social Security Number (SSN) is required. Visitors who use their state-issued driver’s license or state-issued identification card information on their application can apply for the expedited service. Complete the following application form, including signature of sponsor, and email it to the Visitor Control Center at usarmy.belvoir.imcom-atlantic.mbx.des-visitor-control-center@army.mil. Please note, the applicant’s name on the Sponsored form MUST match what’s on their identification.

What if I do not want to email it? The applicant can hand-carry in the completed application, or they can complete an application in-office on arrival. Hand-carrying in the completed form will save the applicant a couple of minutes when processing for their pass.

Once your completed form is emailed and received by the Visitor Center, you will receive an automatic email reply stating your pass will be ready for pick up in 72 business hours. A confirmation email informing you that the pass is ready will not be provided. To pick up the pass the applicant will need to go inside the Visitor Center and present their ID. A secondary ID may be required. Please click on the Real ID Act, which explains if a secondary ID is needed. If you do not have a secondary ID, you will not receive a pass. If you arrive after-hours you will not be able to pick up your Expedited Pass. You can still access the installation by driving through the commercial canopy at Tulley Gate (please note, only the applicant can pick up their own pass).

NOTE: If you have a valid military and/or a dependent ID card, there is NO action required on your part. Normal procedures for accessing a military installation will apply.
